Chiropractor and Life University alumna Dr. Gena Bofshever knew no one when she opened her Florida-based practice. “I show up on day one and I have three patients,” she recounts — her mom, her dad and a former patient who now happened to live in Florida. Her experience provides insight into how to build a practice in a new-to-you community.

Learn techniques for establishing yourself in your community by making connections and utilizing free tools like social media to spread the word. Her most important advice? BIO
Gena Bofshever, D.C. was raised on Long Island, New York before earning a B.S. in anthropology from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She then decided to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Bofshever completed post-graduate training in pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She speaks at New Beginnings Chiropractic Seminars and is a member of the League of Chiropractic Women, the International Chiropractic Association and the ICPA. She has been nominated Woman Of The Year in Fort Lauderdale and named One Of 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County.
