Dr. Kwon completed her DC degree within the Research Track at Life University, with Pi Tau Delta honors. She received her BS in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and MS  in Biotechnology degrees from Johns Hopkins University, and has also studied Health Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her extensive science and research background includes work at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine – Neurology Institute for Cell Engineering and the Engineering Research Center for Computer Integrated Surgical Systems and Technology. Dr. Kwon is currently involved with subluxation-based chiropractic research studies pertaining to health outcomes of pregnant women and children.

Before beginning his education and training as a chiropractor, John Folta served as a nuclear electrician on a submarine in the US Navy for eight years. It turns out that working hard, understanding how intricate systems operate, and how to keep the power flowing all serve Folta well in his studies. Now, in his 9th quarter at Life U College of Chiropractic, Folta is certainly working hard, is learning how intricately the nervous system operates, and how to keep the power flowing in the human body.

Dr. Stephanie Sullivan serves as the director of Life University’s Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research, fostering the objectively skeptical, collaborative, curious, creative, and exacting environment that science demands. Her work as a Ph.D. candidate with the Biomedical & Health Sciences Institute, Neuroscience division of University of Georgia (UGA) has involved conversations about locating, correcting, analyzing, and then measuring the effects of vertebral subluxation – interestingly, without controversy over the term “subluxation.”
